Delayed Flight: Turning a Flight Delay into Music

Every journey has a story.

Sometimes it begins exactly when things don't go according to plan.

That is exactly how Delayed Flight was born.

During one of my trips, my flight was unexpectedly delayed. While waiting at the gate, I listened to the captain apologising to all the passengers before take-off. Instead of simply hearing the announcement, I recorded it.

At that moment I didn't know that recording would eventually become the heart of one of my most personal productions.

More Than an Afro House Track

Delayed Flight is not simply another Afro House release.

It represents movement, uncertainty, patience and the excitement that comes before discovering a new destination.

As someone born in Cameroon and now based in Madrid, travelling has become part of my identity. Every airport, every country and every culture influences the music I create.

This track transforms those emotions into melodic Afro House, combining deep grooves, cinematic atmospheres and emotional storytelling.

Music Inspired by Real Life

I believe that music should tell stories.

Rather than creating tracks only for the dancefloor, I want every production to have its own identity and emotional connection.

The original pilot announcement became the perfect metaphor.

Sometimes life delays us.

But those delays often lead us exactly where we are supposed to be.

Building the Materia Prima Universe
